Desmond King

Desmond King is a proud graduate of Texas A&M University-Commerce. Desmond began his basketball career while growing up in Alexandria, Louisiana. During his high school tenure, he received numerous awards, including Mr. Louisiana, All Cenla, Twelve-time tournament MVP, and MVP of the Louisiana State Tournament. During his time in college, Desmond was awarded Capital One 1st Team All-American, Newcomer of the Year, Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year. At the end of his college career, his jersey was respectively retired. Desmond has been the proud face of Kings & Queens Basketball Academy since 2018. His unwavering commitment, Passion, and Pride have produced winning players and teams in every age group. Desmond has established a standard of excellence within the academy, a culture both on and off the court that has continually allowed our teams and players to reach unprecedented heights.
